A traditional form of greeting and salutation used among the Hmar and its kindred tribes. It is commonly used in public speeches, letters, gatherings, announcements, and when meeting someone in person, often accompanied by a handshake.
1. Inrêngin chibai ka bûk cheu. (I greet you all.)
2. In chibai ei tih. (Let’s shake hands.)
